The journey commenced in March 2023, as I eagerly embarked on the Bronze module—a comprehensive introduction to the wonders of Carmarthenshire. From its breathtaking landscapes to its rich tapestry of history, each section of the course unveiled new layers of beauty and intrigue. Exploring our vibrant coastal towns, verdant green spaces, and captivating historic sites left me in awe of the diverse treasures that Carmarthenshire has to offer.

The Silver Module: Delving Deeper

As the seasons unfolded, so too did my exploration of our county. In the summer of 2023, I delved into the Silver module, which included in-depth studies on the Welsh language, gardens, green spaces, and the stunning Carmarthenshire coastline. Immersing myself in the beauty of our gardens and coastal landscapes while gaining insight into the nuances of the Welsh language was both enriching and enlightening.

The Gold Module: A Deep Dive into Welsh History

Finally, in February 2024, I completed the Gold module—a deep dive into the fascinating history of Wales. From ancient legends to modern-day innovations, this module provided a comprehensive understanding of Wales's rich cultural heritage. Armed with this knowledge, I am better equipped to offer you a more immersive and enriching experience during your stay at The Cors Country House.

Each level culminated in a final test, where a score of at least 80% was required to pass. I'm pleased to say I have now completed and passed all three levels, achieving the status of Carmarthenshire Tourism Gold Ambassador.
